At least, that's what he told himself before he sat down with the man. Now he's beginning to feel like the justice system he's devoted his life to is nothing more than a house of cards.

Dazai and Chuuya leave the boss's office after receiving the file containing information on their new mission. "These so-called heroes have been overstepping their boundaries. They've been getting bolder these days, "saving" the citizens of Yokohama." Chuuya says in disdain and anger. There's no way these heroes thought kidnapping these poor citizens meant that they were saving them from the rumored "villain's ruling". The heroes have been invading Yokohama, time to send Soukoku in to show these heroes their places! This is posted in ao3 as well :))
What I never told you (ReaderxDazai)
Both Dazai Osamu and Sera Kerarutto have something in common. A story too complex to put into words. The bond that she thought had been severed four years ago is slowly healing, but at what price? Her past, her life before joining the Port Mafia, is threatening to destroy not only her, but also him and the beloved Yokohama they live in. It's been 4 years since Dazai left the mafia and entered the Agency, but he still feels uncomfortable. His colleagues are great collaborators, of course, and Kunikida is a very prepared partner, but Dazai misses something...something that he feels lost since too long and that he needs to find.
