Emery 'Rhi' Buckley has spent her entire life right where they left her. While she is known for her little sarcastic quips and extraordinary medical knowledge, she has constantly felt that she was never truly been loved for all her flaws and maybe a new recruit and his son might be the ones to change that. Edmundo 'Eddie' Diaz's instinct of jumping into situations to save people has threatened his life a number of times. When he joined the 118, he didn't realize was that a certain blonde was going to take his and his son's life by storm and maybe save his life on the way.  

On the other hand, Miyuki 'Yuki' Kanamoto stumbles through life one careful step at a time with a smile on her face. Her eyes and smiles hide a thousand stories and maybe a certain reckless firefighter might only be the one to read them. Evan 'Buck' Buckley is classified as the golden retriever at the 118 firehouse whose daredevil personality has always kept everyone on their toes.  Everything he does comes from his heart and maybe 9-1-1 might really give him his lifeline.

Through all the trials and tribulations, will the Buckley twins experience love beyond their wildest dreams?
