Vincent is a teenage boy who just recently moved back into his hometown after 10 years of him and his uncle living in another country. Despite there being constant wars and conflicts between two clans, Vincent makes sure to treat everyone he knows equally, even though some of them aren't as they seem. 

There is also a very odd cult of people in the city, people who seem to be able to use all forms of magic, magic from the clans and not.

All we know is that that cult is dangerous.

But then everything goes wrong when they get attacked by fire elementals who work for the demon Earl Alfred of Aleman who is also after Gregor's magic. The elemental manages to steal the shadow and now Gregor and Tristan must travel through different dimensions to get the shadow back and slip the Earl and his henchmen in the process.
