Skylene Gray who is now the renown Lady Iris, went through a tough childhood. Her drunk father crashed their car into a power plant when she was young. Luckily, she survived, but was blessed-or cursed- with distinct powers that changed the life of everyone around her- mostly for the worse. Now she's been recruited for a committee called NOVA, which grouped together more humans like her with distinct abilities- all to take down one mysterious foe that seems to be interested with what Lady Iris can do. But Skylene has one question for herself: Does she deserve redemption? Does he?

The sun, if there had been a sun to begin with, had disappeared thousands of generations ago, and the people living on planet Terra had evolved (or hadn't, depending on different beliefs) with new 'abilities', like night vision, blending in with shadows, and the star patterns on our skin that could glow at will. I honestly didn't really care what had actually happened, more focused on the present than the past. "Everyone knows the sun is gone, or never existed." Hunter laughs.
