The moon was a bright orb lighting his path as he ran through the forest at full speed. The sound of his paws hitting the ground thundered in his ears. All he could think about was the annual ball to be thrown during the blood moon. He would only be attending in hopes of finding her. Ten years had passed without luck, and he was almost beginning to think the moon goddess had forgotten to pair him with a mate.
