Wednesday finally owns a phone now, and Enid and her won't stop texting. After a tumultuous first week of summer break, Wednesday stays with her best friend in San Francisco for two weeks. The plan was to spend the rest of the break at Wednesday's, but Enid also happened to have plans with Ajax ...
Both girls know that they are more than friends but aren't willing to acknowledge it until it's too late.

Wednesday and Enid try to rekindle their relationship. But is the damage that was done still reversible?

Wednesday gets troubling visions during her sleep. It drives her crazy and nobody seems to understand how serious the situation is... except for one person. Enid believes her, because she's been having the same dreams.

Everything shifts the day following the Halloween Ball. All of a sudden, the safe cocoon that Nevermore was, becomes a horror scene where nobody's safe and everyone's a suspect.

How did all of those events affect the surviving Nevermore students? Will it ever go back to normal?
