The Boy From Arkansas tells the adventurous yet dramatic story of a thirteen year old, orphaned boy who goes by the name Henry. No parents. No love and affections. No real friends. No real home. Even no last name! Henry struggles greatly with his emotions, his identity, and his purposeless life. The only thing he wishes for is a real friend and a purpose in life, even if it's the smallest purpose. When a potential friend does come along, Henry swears to himself that he will do anything to hold onto that opportunity for a real friend. And he does. He takes every measure even if its dishonest and disloyal just to hold onto that friend, out of fear of losing him. Eventually, it catches up when Henry is forced to make the toughest decision of his life: let go of his friend for good, or face serious consequences for his dishonesty.
