(Alternate reality in which Kaiser and Ness knew each other growing up)
"Ist es wieder passiert?" (Did it happen again?) Ness stated plainly. His tone indicated that he already knew the other's answer. His gaze fixed downwards, to hide a look of concern since Kaiser especially hated when other's showed sympathy in his regard.
Kaiser stopped in his tracks. His silence to the question speaking enough.
"Es war nicht so schlimm wie beim letzten Mal." (It wasn't as bad as last time) Kaiser's voice was as clear as ever, though his back faced towards Ness and the distance made his words get muffled in the busy air of the suburban city.
"Es ist immer schlecht, Kaiser. Mach mir keinen Blödsinn." (It's always bad, Kaiser. Don't bullshit me.) His voice held malice, but not towards the other. His nails digging into the palm of his hand showcased the tension that grew within his mind.

Come back to me and stay. Stay, please just stay. I mean it. Ness is gone, Kaiser doesn't respond to it very well. He searches far and wide for Ness for 5 years of time. He regrets everything, but he would never admit that. But he does, he truly does. He wants Ness to come back to him. He never really believed in the idea of fate, but maybe this time he believes in it. Like how Ness did, how his Alexis Ness solely relied on fate and fate alone.
