Something you didn't know about me, ok, maybe you have: I want to get a tattoo. Really REALLY badly. I have wanted one since I was seven.
Everyone on my father's side as several, even hundreds. Also don't forget about piercings. My mother's side of the family is completely against it.
I am currently trying to talk my parents into giving me consent. In Alberta, Canada, there is no age limit. Just consent.
I turn fifteen this summer.
So kids, all those hours your teachers were drilling you on essays, its situations like this that those hard earned skills pay off.
That's right. Getting what you want from your parents. Genius, right? It's like they knew we would want tattoos from our parents as minors...
Anyway, my Dad hasn't read this yet. But before I wrote this, he said my odds of getting a tattoo this summer are 50/50.
Not a yes. Not a no.
That freaking kills me.
Also, my mom has no idea about this. I convince Dad, Dad convinces Mom.
Wish me luck.
