When a twelve year old boy  mysteriously disappears, staying at Lake Hilton a  summer camp for higher class families, everyone seems to not have any information of his disappearance the police soon believe he had ran away..that is until three years later when a fifteen year old boy comes into the Hilton city Police station with nothing but a soggy wet rain jacket and out dated pants, claiming to be Finn Tucker the boy that had disappeared years ago. 

Finn Tucker claims to have came out of lake Hilton with no knowledge of how he got there.. All he knows is he's not himself anymore..

It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University. Now that summer has finally arrived, she can look forward to a long anticipated break and spend time with her friends enjoying one of their favourite pastimes - swimming in the Loch! Summer solstice arrives and they all decide to go swimming in the Loch to celebrate decent weather for once! Rain jumps in first, revelling in the warm but surprisingly cool water. This isn't the first unexplained death to occur in this spot, after all this is the same loch where three children were discovered floating dead in the Loch during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party. Rain knows that supernatural forces don't exist. But no living person could have done this. Now she must work with PIT to unravel the truth behind a convoluted mystery of lies, murders and haunting stories to find out what really happened to her friends.
