Being wealthy comes with secrets. And unfortunately, fifteen year old Luna Chang learned this the hard way.

At school, Luna is the popular girl. Not the snobby kind of popular, but the one with the smile that she's known for. Her and her two best friends are the queen bees of the school because of one reason- their families. The Wilshire's and Langford's may be America's richest families, but the Chang's? Their names top global headlines around the world, and EVERYBODY knows about Luna.

Luna may get every material thing she's ever wanted- but deep down, she has more passions than anybody else- with dreams of becoming a biologist or a fashion designer. Luna would kill for a day to be a normal person, without having to worry about media headlines and cameras zooming into her face every second of her life.

Beginning her sophomore year of high school at Montvale, Luna is determined to make her mark as somebody different- the first step? Making newer friends in a... different circle. Like, Phoebe- that shy smart girl in AP Physics, Kaitlyn, the girl with the beautiful voice.... or... even Ayden, that cute boy she met at a summer volunteer program last week. Luna loves her best friends and her circle of popular girls.... but sometimes, Luna's anxiety tells her they could be fake- there for her family.

She discovers true love isn't about who you thought you really love, but who you were meant to- after an ex of her comes back, and new boys step into her life- she finds herself tracing back into her past relationships.

Over the course of her journey to find herself, family secrets are revealed, pasts are linked like stars, people across the world are connected- all by blood.
