At school, Luna is the popular girl. Not the snobby kind of popular, but the one with the smile that she's known for. Her and her two best friends are the queen bees of the school because of one reason- their families. The Wilshire's and Langford's may be America's richest families, but the Chang's? Their names top global headlines around the world, and EVERYBODY knows about Luna.

Luna may get every material thing she's ever wanted- but deep down, she has more passions than anybody else- with dreams of becoming a biologist or a fashion designer. Luna would kill for a day to be a normal person, without having to worry about media headlines and cameras zooming into her face every second of her life.

Beginning her sophomore year of high school at Montvale, Luna is determined to make her mark as somebody different- the first step? Making newer friends in a... different circle. Luna loves her best friends and her circle of popular girls.... but sometimes, Luna's anxiety tells her they could be fake- there for her family.

She discovers true love isn't about who you thought you really love, but who you were meant to- after an ex of her comes back, and new boys step into her life- she finds herself tracing back into her past relationships.

They ended up moving to a city that sounds like the fusion of pizza and a burger. That meant that she would no longer be attending her dream school- The University of Toronto -with her best friend Diane. Thanks to her stellar grades, she was able to land herself a scholarship to a private university whose name she could barely pronounce. Amidst being upset about the divorce drama and the sudden move, she was expected to adapt to not only a new school but a new environment, one in which she knew no one. She tries to be optimistic and decides to make the most of it, due to her pressing love for her major- Musical Theatre. She first encounters Mac in the Seven-Eleven in her neighborhood. He's a quiet, artist teenager covered in tattoos with shoulder-length wavy hair. He has a beautiful face which really intrigues Luna. The two continue to "bump" into each other at the store and share a common love for grape sodas. Nick Mellon.
