Romy returns home for a six-week holiday, expecting a quiet break from her busy life. But when her cousin Agnes and her two neighbours, Ashley and Caiten, surprise her with food and company, the holiday takes an unexpected turn. As Romy cleans out her attic, she hears her parents return unexpectedly, panicking because they don't know she's been paying her own college tuition. After finally confessing the truth, she's shocked when her parents reveal their own surprise-they both received promotions and are now able to repay her.
With this weight lifted, Romy is inspired to use her savings on something she's dreamed of for years: a journey to Paris to find a love story like her parents'.
