This is a fanfiction of Dollhouse, picking up where season 1, episode 12 left off. Topher has just wiped Echo's many personalities from her encounter with Alpha. But life inside the Dollhouse is changing, and so is Echo. She starts exhibiting signs of a new personality, one that is neither Caroline nor any that Topher has ever created. One that seems to be developing naturally. To keep Echo safe, Topher and Boyd struggle to keep Echo's new personality a secret from Dewitt. Through his efforts to keep Echo's secret, Topher grows closer to Echo and learns that maybe Caroline wasn't the real girl after all.

Might this be a single string story about three ghosts and a girl from certain Netflix show we all know? Yes. 'Cause allow me to say i'm still pissed off about not having the 5 seasons we deserved.
