In her grasp: pure cosmic power─every star, every mystery, every infinite possibility. She is the beginning and the end. The creator and the destroyer. A force of a woman with universes in her veins and hell on her tongue. With that much power, following the rules becomes... inconvenient. But breaking them? Oh, that's where her fun begins. And playing the Space Jam? Too damn easy. Then there's that weird British alien hero-guy. Most people just call him the Doctor. Brilliant, infuriating, heartbreakingly kind. An old madman with a funny ole box who's spent almost all his lifetimes trying to keep others at an arms distance and running toward danger. But somehow, he finds himself sprinting after her. Because he's never been able to resist a bad girl. Especially one who holds more power than she knows what to do with. But, that's a lie. She knows exactly what she's going to do with all that power. It'll be the grandest of all grand slams. The funniest of all funny jokes. The craziest of all crazy ploys. The biggest win in all of time and space. She'll tear down the entire fucking system. Never Fade From Me (The Life & Times of River Song & The Doctor)
"Never Fade From Me" is the unseen story of the life and times of River Song and the Doctor. Ever wondered what happened to River Song after she faded from the Doctor on Trenzalore? Though River died long ago and became an "echo" could such a brave, complex and passionate woman just simply fade away and give up the love of her life so easily? This is what happens next in the love story of River Song and the eleventh Doctor. "...everybody lives..." But the memory of that day kept running through her head and like a child still clinging on to a dream she could not believe that this was the end and wanted to believe in one last miracle because that's how it felt all those times when she had ran with the Doctor. Though of course it wasn't the whole story because for all the good days with the Doctor, there must also be the bad and as River Song learned in the most cruellest possible way, nothing lasts forever and no matter how fast you run, hanging onto the coat tails of the Doctor, it can't save you because time along with its constant companion death will always catch up with you in the end. "You take that thing with you everywhere, whats up with that?" I glance down at my necklace. It had a miniature hour glass charm that had beautiful symbols on it... although I don't remember where I got it from. I've been having dreams, many dreams in fact. A man with a blue box. He saved people, but he always seemed to loose some on the way as well. It was strange how that worked. His blue box kept him running, that fascinated me. The idea of having adventures with him- even just meeting him- was what I wanted to happen most. That night was when I found him. That brilliant blue box. It was so familiar, yet it was nothing i've ever seen for my own eyes, until now. I held my necklace in my hands as I saw him in-front of me. When the Doctor found me, I had no identity. No name, no belongings. I was malnourished and sickly before he found me. When he did find me, immediately I was thrust into a world full of family and friends, something I had no memory of.
