Uzi Doorman is a Worker Drone, a common robot designed to help humans... not that shes ever met a human after they all blew themselves up on Copper-9. Though that doesn't mean that they aren't a threat, sending the Disassembly Drones, better known as Murder Drones, to eliminate "runaway AI". Uzi plans to finish her weapon by sneaking into the Murder Drones lair to get the last part she needs to finish her railgun, a weapon to fight back against the sky demons. She, however, encounters a small hiccup with a Murder Drone actually being in the Lair. With her life on the line, and the possibility of having endangered literally everyone, she gets hints from this strange Murder Drone called "C" that something more may be going on. Though, if she wants to investigate that, she first needs to survive C and her teammates, as well as prevent them from killing everyone back home.

The first time I woke up, it was with a simple purpose: Dismantle. When we were sent to Copper 9, the planet was already a frozen wasteland. They were no longer easy prey and began to organize. Some built stronger shelters; others developed makeshift weapons. Each mission became harder, more chaotic. My companions, V and J, seemed to enjoy the increasing violence. For them, every hunt was a game, an opportunity to hone their skills. I pretended to feel the same, but inside, something was starting to break. I made mistakes, let drones escape that I could have eliminated. V accused me of being "too soft," but she never reported me. Maybe because she thought I was harmless, just a temporary glitch. But I wasn't. I didn't know that soon I would find someone who would change everything, someone who would show me I wasn't alone in my confusion.
