They didn't think that Megatron would change the rules. Bringing the children, exposing them to the toxic air. Optimus did what he seemed right at the moment. He destroyed the Omage Lock, only resulting in something unexpected. The children, their glass container, had shattered when the wave of unrestrained cyber-matter had sent them and their Guardians flying off. One night during a meteor shower they will face a much greater evil than any enemy they faced: the Decepticons.
