Claire Richter has suffered much in her twenty years of life. It started with her grandmother dying and it wove on and on until it caused the death of her beloved sister. Now she's turned hard and cold, becoming blank-faced so as not to show her weakness. Weaknesses had caused her family much pain when she was younger.

When these two meet, they unsurprisingly hate each other. But their feelings about each other aren't considered as they're forced to work together...
