Serbia in the 18th century. The country is still under the offensive of the Turks. Evangelia spends her youth with her two younger brothers and parents who strive to remove the fear that spreads through Serbia like a specter, with their love and harmony. Evangelia's life is somewhat idyllic, until the day when, due to the raging war, she loses everything, even her life. But for some reason, she does not leave completely; instead, she remains wandering, trapped between worlds. She does not know that in her captivity, a great danger looms. Specters from hell, servants of Satan, want to drag her into the bowels of the earth. Evangelia tries to find a way to save herself, to break free from the captivity between the world of the living and the dead, and to go where she belongs.
