Lily Hawthorne lives in the middle of nowhere on a small ranch owned by her grandparents. Her life is fairly normal for a seventeen year old farm girl. She knows how to ride horses and wrangle cows. Sometimes she even catches a wild horse and tames it.
However, when her grandparents tell her they have to sell the ranch to pay for their over due debts that and she will have to go live with her parents in the big city, she is willing to do anything to save her ranch... Even if that means striking deals with shady people, committing crimes she never would have done before, become a liar, a backstabber, and everything she hated.
