A returned Soul

This book is based simply on my imagination. I am a young writer who writes mostly for fun or when bored, and I consider this a side hobby.
Side note: This will soon be published as an official book in a year or two time, some things may differentiate between this and the actual book.

Aeris's parents prevent her from socializing as she is the hidden empress and end up revealing the truth to her. Aeris finds a note in her kitchen that invites her to the Royal Palace in France but it prevents her from telling her parents, if so, her parents die.
And so she decides to tell her parents anyway and they end up dying.
She flies off to France where she meets with the devil himself and is given a bodyguard.
Aeris and her bodyguard are sent on numerous adventures to find crowns and Jules of land for him.
The devil betrays them and leaves Aeris out to die after turning her into a 'monster'.
The bodyguard saves her and they both go on a final mission to take revenge on the devil. They succeed but die in the process of doing so.
Their souls reunite in the afterlife and they go on to live the rest of eternity as the best of friends.
