"I'm not pretty" I whispered.
He stayed quiet for a beat, which made me look up. He had a perplexed expression on his face, as if he didn't get how I could think such a thing.
"You're right. You're not pretty-" I winced and cut him off. "Dante please-"
"Because you're beautiful." He finished. "You are the sun to my sky; the air to my lungs. You are brighter than the stars themselves, so don't you dare say you're not pretty, because you're beautiful, Cara Mia."

Cara Rodríguez had always wanted to be a writer; hence why she worked in a bookstore. She wanted to write her own romance novel and become known, but she could not find the motivation to write one since her own love story was tragic. So going to Italy when she wins a vacation for a month in the country doesn't seem like a bad idea to get some inspiration.
