In attempt to find additions for Fräulein Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities, Elsa Mars discovers Peter Angel-a telekinetic seer with a haunting gift and selective mutism.

Peter's quiet, solitary nature sets him apart from the others, drawing suspicion and frustration-especially from Jimmy Darling, whose irritation with Peter only grows. As tensions grow, Peter struggles to keep his composure, even as the secrets he's buried threaten to resurface.

How long can Peter survive in the freak show before he unravels? And what will happen when his past finally catches up with him?
