Short story inspired/based off of @lovelyshithead25 's work on TikTok.
This is formed like an ao3 fic/story summary because I've been reading a lot of ao3 fics 😅
"I can't! They know me! They'll know my voice!" Deku says in a sort of light hearted panic. Bakugou just sits there, his lips forming a thin line for more than one reason.

It was supposed to be a normal game of truth or dare, until someone dared Midoriya to prank call the suicide hot line.
This is like Bakugou's POV, except it's third person. I forgot what it's called exactly. It's sorta like 1st person but Bakugou isn't referred to as 'I' but rather 'he' or 'Katsuki' So I'll be referring to characters mostly by the nicknames Bakugou calls them. Otherwise it would just be slightly odd to me personally. By the way, due to a little hc (and also small theory, if that makes sense) that I have, sometimes you'll see it say 'Kacchan' instead of 'Katsuki'.
I do not own any of the characters in the story, as this is a fan fiction based off of Horikoshi's My Hero Academia, and inspired by @lovelyshithead25 on tiktok.

What if the reason for Katsuki's hurtful words had to do with the dark past Inko desperately tried to keep hidden from the outside world? What if, when Bakugo and Midoriya are older and hero's, one of them doesn't make it back from their mission as they thought they would. Bakugo and Midoriya had went out to help a couple other pro hero's. You may know them as Denki Kaminari (Charge Bolt) and Kirishima Eijiro (Red Riot). They were up against a villain who constantly enhanced his quirk the longer it took them to take him down but it wasn't as easy as it sounded. Besides this villain, there were others. Civilians he'd turned mad and forced them to use their quirks on the four boys. They couldn't hurt to civilians. They're innocent. But the villain, Madane, wasn't letting up and Dynamite was running out of stamina. An unknown blast was mere inches away from shooting Dynamite and, the number one pro hero, Deku, had jumped and pushed him out of the way just in time. Instead of it hitting Bakugo, it hit Midoriya. Right in the heart.. Will Deku fall from his number 1 throne, or will someone help him just in time?... And if he survives how will this villain be defeated?
