When Jimbo and Lily Cooper decide they want to spend a summer with their children and grandchildren after Lily gets cancer, they invite everyone to stay at their lakeside mansion. For military brat and grandchild, 16 year old Jamie, the summer is ever-so-daunting. Until he meets with the lifeguard at the lake, local college freshman and American football player, 18 year old Alexander Collins.
With 2 grandparents, 4 children, 4 children in law, and 11 grandchildren, all in a 9 bedroom mansion lakeside and among a beautiful forest in the mountains at summertime, there's sure to be bumps in the road. Especially when Jamie and Alex fall in love.
