A series of murders have been taking place in Black thorn, a local town out near the border of mexico. These murders have been compared to murders of jack the ripper, the killer mimicking the rippers every step every move. Even down to where they bury the bodys for the police to find. Meanwhile Emily Snow-a 17 year old girl who had onky recently moved to blackthorn after her unfortunate family circumstances forced her to this forsaken hell holl. But there is one silver lining to showing up to this stain on the map. Ajax Russo. A 17 year old who has lived all his life in Blackthorn, has cought the attention of our female protagonist. They sick up for each other and do fun things together. He loves his dad and doesn't see the wrong in most things. One day Caleb tells Ella that Bradley and him are going on a trip with their dad and that she should go. She said yes, of course. Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare. Bradley has to reveal some secrets along with Ella and he has to start using his brotherly love and instinct to survive. What happens when Ella discover the biggest secret the boys have.
