Giorgio De Giorgi stands in front of the mirror, contemplating his first 40 years of life. A job as a chef in a restaurant in Turin and the desire to tell his life story. He decides to buy what will become his life diary. He finds a "vintage" diary online that will turn out to be something truly special. Through its pages, he will meet Joel Ferrél, also "trapped" in the diary, and together, every day, they will have to face different adventures to catch the culprits of murders or thefts.

Giorgio will also find love in a girl from Chivasso, Lucrezia Ferrante, whom he meets by chance during a hitchhiking trip. Within a few days, the two start dating, but the diary's choices are very different from reality. Suddenly, Giorgio is no longer a chef but officially becomes a world-renowned detective. This newfound success completely transforms his life. No one remembers who he had been for forty years. Lucrezia doesn't recall anything about their relationship and asks to become the secretary at DE GIORGI & FERREL INVESTIGATIONS.

More days of activity, shifting between the present and the past, will lead Giorgio to discover things he never could have imagined. His relationship with Lucrezia no longer exists, and by chance, he learns that Joel is now dating the woman he once loved. After some clarifications, Giorgio and Joel make peace, but another problem appears before their eyes. Joel knows his time is coming to an end, but he doesn't have the courage to tell Giorgio. The diary has other plans for him. Everything will be revealed on January 31st, when Giorgio's life will be turned upside down once again.

The third one is a special task force officer who is sent undercover to uncover a criminal ring involved in illegally manufacturing of weapons and supplying to anti social elements of the society. The three different stories comes to a common point when it is found that all are connected to the person in the town who misuses his power to control the law and order.
