Long ago, 4 gods ruled over humanity since their beginning, but after growing bored, they decided to play a game with humanity. Dividing their power into 52 cards that give humans a part of their power, the gods then disappeared leaving behind a prophecy that said one card wielder would rule over them. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card. One was left standing until a powerful creature appears the individual tried to fight it but it was useless the seven individuals that died in battle came back to life and helped fight the creature and defeat it. Once the creature was defeated the eight individuals looked at each other until symbol appeared on them choosing them as heroes.
