These artifacts, otherworldly and unpredictable, are capable of creating powerful, reality-altering dreams, and dangerous, too-real nightmares. And the Nightmare wants nothing more than to exist, to freely torture all of the world. With the uncontrollable power of the earring, such a future is too dangerously possible.
With the clock ticking down until Rimis' manifestation into the real world, individual agendas clash with desires to protect the world from his destructive power. Each side believes they are in the right and the others are in the wrong, and each lays a claim on one of the multicolored objects. All agree on the danger Rimis poses, but disagree on how to deal with him.
And these disagreements may bring about the end of reality itself.
