Zane had always kept to himself. With both parents gone, no siblings, and few friends, he spent his holidays alone in his family's sprawling mansion, finding solace only in his work with the Asset Containment Unit (ACU). His grandparents and uncle, however, had other plans, forcing him to attend Camp Cretaceous, hoping he'd learn to relax and make connections with other teens. (And yes, he made me add FORCED... wait, did he just break the fourth wall?)

But when the Indominus Rex escapes, and the seven campers are left fighting for survival, the real challenge begins. Will they manage to stay alive, and uncover hidden truths about Jurassic World-and about the quiet, mysterious friend?

It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen?
