Mature
Another collection of sweet short stores exploring the theme of transition from male to female. However, this collection is different from the other books in the Life 2.0 series.

This collection is intended to only be enjoyed by those over the age of 18. Some stories are of a sexual nature, others a grotesque horror.(I blame my husband for the sexual ones.)
You have been warned.

In a world in which all girls are submissives and all boys are dominants. What happens to all the people who don't fit into that mould? What happens to all the dominant girls, the submissive boys - the people who pulled the reverse card on those expectations. Forced to hide their true identities from the world around them. What happens when Scarlett Holloway finds out the most popular boy in school, star quarterback Ronan Conners, is a submissive and just as much of a reverse as she is? Will they be able to last in a world that hates them? Or will they be able to be with each other anyway? *Excerpt from story* "You w-want to leave?" He looked more uneasy, scared. "Please don't go mistress I-" "You what, lover-boy " I slipped into my space but caught myself before I fell. A pair of warm and gentle lips met with my own, they were soft, failing to take control. Submissive trying to dominate. I fell into near space, taking control of the confused lip lock. I grabbed hold of his jaw, forcing his lips to part and give room for my tongue. He shuddered, whining and squirming uncontrollably. His knees buckled as I flipped us around and pressed him against the wall. I pinned him against the wall as I trailed my lips down to his neck, his erection pressed into my stomach as he trembled and moaned. My hand lightly pressed at his neck, where I wanted a collar to be. "P-please I need-" he whimpered, unable to finish talking. "What do you need, bunny?" *Warning, this book deals with a lot of mature and difficult themes such as physical and emotional abuse, suicide, substance abuse, depression and mental health, etc. Viewers discretion in advised. If you are not in, they write frame of mind, and are at risk of getting triggered, then do not read*

On a dark rainy afternoon, a stolen ride, a displaced soul, a romance with a difference. She had a story to tell and Walter had a need to listen.... Harder and harder it rained around Willowpeak. The low-lying areas were starting to flood. I got stuck behind a couple of big rigs going up a hill. It was so dark from the really dense black storm clouds and heavy rain that it looked almost like the middle of the night, even though it was only in the mid afternoon. Just as I slowed to no more than a walking pace, the passenger door of my car suddenly opened and a girl climbed in. She was soaked, dripping water on my seat cushions as she turned to lock the door once she was inside... ...She tried a smile. She wore no make-up but her skin had that clearness only the young achieve. Her tangled hair, dark in what light filtered though the storm, lay plastered tightly to her cheeks, neck and back. In much the same way, a cotton shirt clung to her shape. I mentally revised her age, those breasts seemed adolescent. I smiled back, feeling a thrill of anticipation rush through me. She might be delectable, but there was also a possibility that she was underage. My heart skipped a beat. "I hope you don't mind too much, sir. I'm wet and cold and..." She turned her face away but continued looking at me sideways. "And I need a ride..... This story is quite different from the other stories I've written. Give it a try. I think you'll like it of you like any of my other stories. If you do, let me know what you think, good or bad.
Losing Rene? by sabrynabrooklynne

This book is written from the point of view of a father raising a child alone. It's an emotional journey through past life experiences and present life acceptances that takes place in one single scene with flashbacks that fill the reader in on how we got to that point. The following is an excerpt from one of the flashbacks: " Who is this woman and the kids in your drawing," I asked my son. He sat the crayon down and picked up another without looking up. "Those are mine from before." I raised my eyebrows. "From before when?" "From before I was born." Intrigued, I pulled out a chair and set down beside him as he continued to draw. "Rene, before you were born you were just a twinkle in the eyes of your mother and me." "I had a family back in a time before my life was cut short and I was born this time." "Well from the looks of your drawing, you sure had a beautiful wife." "That's not my wife," he informed me sternly. He began to color again, trading one color for another. I smiled and inwardly congratulated my late-wife Renee for passing on to our son such an imagination. I fought the urge to pepper Rene with questions, but once I had really thought about what he said, many of my assumptions about him up to that point were beginning to make some sense. That evening, long after Rene had gone to bed I fired up my laptop and began to research Past Life Experiences. I found that Rene's story was not all that uncommon, and there were countless thousands of children across the globe had insisting that they'd had a past life. Only, this was MY SON. *This story was written by Sabrynabrooklynne on Wattpad. If you aren't reading it there, it's been stolen. Please report the website. "What if I'm not one?" I asked, my body wound tight with tension. "One what?" he asked, his voice soft and low. I hesitated. Was I ready? I wanted to tell him so badly. Wanted to scream it from the fucking rooftops. But there would be no going back if I allowed the words to spill out into the world. Telling myself I didn't need someone else's validation, that I knew myself well enough to know with absolute certainty that I was trans was all good and well in principle. But lying here underneath my bed, with my best friend's body pressed so close to mine I could feel his warm breath on my face, I felt those convictions slip through my fingers. Danny's rejection would break me. In a fundamental way. "One what?" he repeated the question, scooting so close to me the tip of his nose brushed mine. Dust motes danced around us, suspended in mid air, teetering on the brink of this momentous feeling wrapping itself around us. I squeezed my eyes shut, pushing down the rush of anxiety trying to drown me. His nose bumped mine again and his breath ghosted over my lips. I opened my eyes and stared unblinkingly into his. 'A girl', I wanted to say, even though I knew the words would taste sour in my mouth, 'what if I'm not a girl?' -------------------------------------- Sean and Danny have been next door neighbours and best friends since they were six years old.
