Empire Down

Monkey D. Luffy, a good-natured, inexperienced country boy of just 19 years old, ends up in jail when his grandfather flees to a paradise island in the Pacfic and leaves him in debt up to his neck. A huge debt for which, legally, he had left his grandson as guarantor, condemning him to suffer all his crimes. Thus, he ends up in jail. But in a normal perison.

Impel Down, hell on earth, the most detestable and ominous prison that mankind could ever have created, which kept the worst subjects and the remains of humanity locked up. A place where any normal person would not last a single day.

But how great would be the surprise for everyone - guards, prisoners and others - when this ragged kid came in, with his smile and his carefree attitude, and brought a whirlwind of change with him. Who would have imagined it?
