Three sisters. One death. When Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa Black each find something of theirs by a dead body, they realize that someone is out to destroy the Black family name. The prominent pureblood was killed in cold blood-something that won't go unnoticed. With a killer lurking behind the corner, they have to work together if they're to figure out the Death in the Noble House of Black.

Set mostly in Hogwarts (but occasionally at the Black family homes) and showcasing the darkness of pureblood society, Death in the Noble House of Black alternates between three sister's POVs. While the mystery is the main plot, we also see Bellatrix's rise with the Dark Lord, Andromeda's growing disillusionment with her family (whilst falling for muggleborn Ted Tonks), and Narcissa's young love with Lucius Malfoy.

This takes place in 1968 and is NOT a Marauder story, as the Marauders were born in 1960 and would only be 8 years old. Please see the introduction for more :)
