His fingers clung to my leg like an iron vice, squeezing with such force that it seemed as though his control had slipped away-what he himself would call 'losing his grip.' A pained moan slipped from between my lips, unbidden. At that moment, as if suddenly made aware of his misstep, Araz slowly withdrew his hand, each motion deliberate, almost remorseful. I could already sense that place on my skin darkening into the purples and blues of a bruise. Yet, if I were to follow him on this path, I knew I must accept that its course was paved with bruises, redness, and deep scratches. For he was like a wild wolf, untethered by anything, his nature unbound and ferocious.
His gaze locked onto mine, as if seeking to pierce through to my very soul. With teeth clenched in a careful, deliberate grind, he spoke in a voice strained with effort, each word carrying the weight of unspoken torment: "From you... Ece, I no longer possess the strength to remain distant."
"Then don't... don't stay away."
