The only beautiful thing about death is, you don't need any earthly possessions, your soul is finally free.

Aeroc reflected in his mother's favorite cabin as he watched six beautiful angels walk towards the rose garden with his true love Clough Bendyke and his beloved Rapiel Westport.

Finally, it has ended. The punishment and revenge, Clough will finally find peace in his passing.

And now Aeroc's soul is surely bound for hell. But instead of the brimstone and fire, he opens his eyes to see a beautiful dream. Rapiel Westport isn't death. Clough doesn't seem to remember him. Was it only a bad dream? Or was this the beginning of hell's torment to a sinner?

Aeroc's thoughts about his second chance, a retelling in Aeroc's pov of volume 2-3.

"I don't know how it happened, or when it happened, but it did. And I tried to fight it, I tried to convince myself that I didn't love you, but I was lying. To myself, and to you." He looks at her unconscious form, imagining her sparkling eyes and warm smile. "I miss you so much, Clover. I miss hearing your voice, seeing your face, feeling your touch. I miss fighting with you, making up with you, just being with you... I never realized how lonely I was before you came into my life. How empty and meaningless my days were. "A dragon and its rider are not mere companions but a single entity, united in purpose until their last breath." - Flight Master Sorren Beckinsale Rothnia teeters on the edge of war. In the frozen North, Ashe Academy forges the kingdom's deadliest weapon: humans bound soul-to-soul with ancient, proud beasts who once ruled the skies. Jaeda, nineteen and orphaned, never asked to be conscripted. She was given no choice. Survive the trials, claim a dragon, or die trying. Prince Carlyle Madden was born for this place. Privilege armored him from birth, and now he wears the rank of Wing Commander. His duty is simple: turn raw recruits into killers. His complication is Jaeda, the one cadet who looks at him like he's the enemy, not the crown. Under his unrelenting command, every mistake bleeds consequences. Every glance lingers too long. And when a dragon finally chooses, it will bind one of them to a power great enough to save the North... or burn it to ash. In a sky ruled by fire and betrayal, only one question matters: Will Jaeda remain forever grounded-or rise high enough to bring them both down? *** Before you ask, Fourth Wing inspired me. And others: How to Train Your Dragon and Game of Thrones. Hence, the tags to get my story noticed. I'm sorry for the confusion. This is NOT fan fiction of those fandoms. It's my story. It's unedited, a work in progress, a passion project. I would love feedback! Both in Jaeda's POV and Carlyle's POV.
