Dungeons & Divebars: Staying Alive

Every city has one: some hole in the wall that refuses to die, kept on life support by a few crusty locals. The kind of place tourists avoid like the plague, probably because they're convinced they'll actually contract the plague, simply by walking through the front door. Cheap beer, watered down drinks and, for some inexplicable reason, the world's most amazing chicken wings.

A dive bar.

The decades roll on, neighborhoods rise and fall, populations ebb and flow, but the dive bar abides. The dive bar also has a secret. Were someone to pay close enough attention, they might just notice that the dive bar only seems to attract a certain kind of person.

And every so often, that person doesn't come back out.

Within the dive bar's weathered walls, order and chaos are in residence, kept in a state of constant tension by the few who deign to enter.
