Heavenly Bullet Wounds

Returning from the military after years of service, Yves Woods lived alone in a sizeable apartment in the largest city in the U.S. The horrors haunted him each night, claiming his sleep and leaving him vulnerable during the day. He spent his days alone, working lifelessly to support himself, the hobbies he used to enjoy rendering useless in calming his aching spirit.

That was until a supposed deity appeared in his apartment one day. If it weren't for the many scars that littered her skin, the smell of gardenias pulling him in, or her captivating, golden honey eyes, he would've shot her on the spot. He didn't want to admit her existence, but once she managed to give him a long day of rest, one he craved for years, all he could do was accept her presence as his Guardian Angel and share his story.
