Vanessa "Van" Leeds is not quite human.
After being badly injured in a drunk driving accident when she was young, she lost her arm and suffered a brain injury, which threatened to leave her disabled for life. Her parents, desperate to save their child, consented to a procedure which involved integrating android technology into Van's body.
Now, she is part Android, equipped with a prosthetic arm and portions of an android brain, giving her some of an androids cognitive abilities. It is for this reason, that Van is a strong advocate for Androids. She cares for them, she understands them, and when she's not solving crime as a Detroit Homicide Detective, she secretly assists with The "Deviant Android" movement.
When Connor, an android detective, is sent by the CyberLife company to aid in Deviant investigations, Van is determined to make him see the humanity within himself. What she didn't expect however...was to fall in love with him.
And she certainly didn't expect him to love her back.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Angie's daily life is turned upside down by the arrival of this angel face android determined to do everything to accomplish his mission. Fanfiction in the universe of the game Detroit Become Human (Quantic Dream). I started by taking up a lot of the scenario and the dialogues of the game by intermingling a new character, then from "Jericho" I went into total improvisation in this version . I tried to make the universe understandable for people who haven't played the game. Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision.
