Tides of Ruse and Ruin

In the enchanted lands of Terra, Delphina's once-bright village is falling apart under a dark curse. As hope fades, Dela, a bold young girl with hidden powers, meets Vander, the striking god of War. Their brief but powerful bond sparks hope in her, but Vander soon disappears, leaving Dela filled with longing.

Determined to save both her village and Vander, Dela strikes a deal with Ruse, the tricky god of bargains-who may be the very one behind her village's curse. In return for his help, she must find the fabled Death Pearl, a treasure with strange, dark powers. As she sets off, Dela learns she can control water and influence minds-powers that shouldn't work on gods. Yet, for reasons she can't explain, Ruse falls under her control, something no other god has faced.

Though Ruse helps her, his anger toward her is clear in every word and action. He hates her for reasons she can't understand, even while his charm and illusions pull her in. Confused by her growing feelings for him, Dela starts to question why he is the only god affected by her powers-and why he resents her so deeply.

As Dela travels through the dangerous lands of the gods, she must face the truth about Ruse's hatred, her own powers, and the mysteries of the Death Pearl. She needs to break the curse, find Vander, and figure out her tangled bond with Ruse. But in a world full of lies and trickery, will she save her home-or lose everything she loves?
