Amy always believe that 'love at first sight' isn't true. It was just a catch-phrase that men used to use to get girls, and she was very thankful that she was very observant that she learned to guard herself as well as her heart, thus no heartache.
However, because of too much guarding, she got to experience having no boyfriend since birth. Not until she graduated, where she started to open the gate that isolate her heart. She tried entertaining people. She tried knowing guys. She tried using dating apps and sites, but all of these to no avail. Bar, she believed, is not a place for dating. People are there just to have 'fun'; everyone is seeking for a temporary happiness: nothing is permanent inside a bar.
But, will she believe if she got the attention of one of the customers there? Will she believe if the guy who has been eyeing her came, and told her he likes her? Will this change the negative connotations she always believed ever since?
