Tomura knew that his second in command had a bad habit of keeping everyone at arm's length. The blue-haired villain knew trauma when he saw it and Dabi was a walking case of it. In some moments the leader was privileged to witness the small moments of weakness in the flame user, but was always sworn to keep the secret or be turned to ash. When a storm passed over the base, Tomura didn't think he'd unlock an important new fact about his second in command, but here he was comforting the flame user in a closet surrounded by blankets.
