a world where 80% of the population are humans. 18% of the remaining 20% are warlocks (male witches), the remaining 2% are witches (female witches). in the early ages of witch crafts upbringing most of the spell casters were women who were captured and burned in front of villages. that resulted in a very large shortage of witches, making warlocks more common to see. now, in 2018 warlocks and witches are still despised, young warlocks and witches who are not executed are sent to an academy of the furthest ends of the earth in the forsaken realm. they are forbidden to ever leave, the forsaken realm has become the home to many warlocks, and no witches.

Y/N was sent to blue lock academy, a school in the forsaken realm for witches who had been caught by the government at a young age. blue lock academy is to make those young witches strong so they can protect the world.

after Y/N's father was caught doing witch craft himself and his wife were executed after Y/N was sent to the school.

Y/N lives her life out in blue lock academy until her mother contacts her, she's alive but her father isn't. her mother tells her that she is being chased by demons. turns out, not only was her father a witch, he was the strongest demon hunter. the demons were taking it out on his family as an act of revenge.
