Once a carefree kid in a peaceful world, Helios's life is upended when the Heartless launch a devastating attack, separating him from his friends and family. Trapped in the dark realm of darkness, he is initially overwhelmed by fear and despair. However, a shocking memory resurfaces-this world is from the Kingdom Hearts game he once played.
Realizing he must find a way out, Helios learns that escape lies behind either a door to light or a door to darkness. As he navigates the eerie landscape, he evades the Heartless, fighting against the seductive pull of darkness that threatens to consume him.
In his journey, Helios encounters a mysterious figure cloaked in shadows, who introduces herself as a fellow traveler of the realm. Though she appears as a silhouette wreathed in dark purple flames and speaks with a feminine voice, their cautious bond grows as they share stories of their pasts.
Which path will our hero walk? One of Light? One of Darkness? Or the Middle Road?
