Someone once told me animals naturally form packs. Whether you are an insect, a bird, a predator, or a prey. Social cliques among animals are what holds the ecosystem and numbers stable. Take wolves for example; those that fail to become alphas, harbor the burden of failure. Carnivores naturally form social hierarchies within their packs. Herbivores however, sacrifice their comrades to evade their predators and live on.

In this world forming packs yields benefits for the individual, a solitary wolf cannot survive alone. A wolf strives to survive. It strives for power to feed its hunger because without power they cannot have the strength to form packs. Thus they must fight against one another to earn their way to the top of their food chain. Wolves strive to live because a lone wolf- is a dead wolf.

This isn't your average werewolf story. It's far from it. (Note: May contain foul language, violent behavior, cliff hangers, too much hormones, hangry characters, and not enough sleep...just saying)

Book #1 in The Bonds of Fate Series "Excuse me sirs, but I think one of you dropped something." She spoke, her eyes not entirely fixed on them. Her voice was angelic, he already loved it. He found himself thinking that he would be content to listen to the sound for the rest of his life. "Thank you, beautiful." The Alpha responded quickly, motioning to one of his pack members to pick it up. "You have very good hearing." "Well, I guess it's compensation" She chuckled slightly, "I mean, these don't do me any good." She gestured towards her eyes, turning more towards where the sound of his voice had originated from. "I hadn't noticed that you were..." He trailed off. Though surprised, his desire and need for his mate never decreased. "Blind?" *** For Leora Kotas, life in Willsden Brooke was a continuous cycle. 6 parts Ongoing Mature

I turn eighteen in six days and I still haven't met my bonded. Usually, you find your bonded when you're kids. You have your mating ceremony when you're sixteen, and by the time you're eighteen, you join your male mate in his pack. And you have a bunch of pups and live happily ever after with the other half of your soul that the gods have blessed you with. I still don't have a bonded. I turn eighteen in six days, and I have never even felt the pull of a bonded nearby. That makes me weird. What's weirder? I'm Ferris Grey, daughter to the fierce leader of the Silver Claw Pack, Griffin Grey, and his wife and the Luna of the pack, Molly Grey. So... In the wolf world, I guess I'm a pretty big deal. I didn't think I was ever going to meet my bonded, but then I met Lucas. And nothing was ever the same again. Oh, and there are a bunch of bad guys, some weird blood magic, and a lottttt of sex. What can I say? It's your average American love story after all.
