Oathbreaker

Kaethe Hessel is among the most promising Apprentices of the Seachad Order, training under the watchful guidance of Zarina Abasto, Sentinel of the deity named Cyena. However, things quickly turn sour when her mentor finds herself accused of treason, against the mighty Zama Imperium. And, it is not long, before Kaethe, too, is drawn into the mess.

In order to clear both their names, Zarina is ordered to track, and suppress, a rogue, imperial commander, who has escaped Zamarian rule. For the Mentor and Apprentice pair, fulfilling this mission soon becomes a matter of life and death.

Fortunately for her, Kaethe can rely on the support of a strange, eerie entity, named Melle, which seems to share her consciousness. And, no matter how bizarre, the Apprentice will need all the help she can get, if she is to ensure her survival.

Hello, everyone! Newbie author, here. This story will be a pretty long ride, and might even span a few volumes, if I manage to pull it off, haha.

As for syntax, and grammatical errors, I am not a native English speaker, so any constructive criticism is welcome. :) I will also expand the world-building, and add references, as the story progresses.
