I just wanted to have some backstory for the orphanage from 'What's a Ghost to a non-believer?' anyway enjoy!

Hullo! This is my first story to be published and I honestly don't expect it to be read. This is a random AU I thought of and wrote within five days. Five days of which I should have been studying for finals. The story is completed so I am literally just copy-pasting it here. Don't expect nice chapter lengths. TW: mentions of abuse and neglect, neglect, mentions/flashback of a murder (including mentions of blood), mild/light cursing, mentions of panic attacks, there might be more that I missed and I'll update this if there are. This AU takes place after all of the adoption and stuff. The sleepy bois have been a happy family for a couple years now, but when the two oldest have to get pulled out of public school, they essentially forget about the youngest. The owner of the orphanage opened the door when a knock was heard and saw little (Y/n) with a note. It said "Please protect little (Y/n) (L/n)". The nun assumed that his parents or parent left him there to be safe. So she took him into the orphanage where until age 10 he was adopted by the Hyoudou family. Host of one of three heavenly dragons and a power buried deep inside him waiting to burst out. Let's see how it goes!! (Y/n) = Your Name (L/n) = Last Name (H/c) = Hair Color (E/c) = Eye Color Any more will be said as it needs to be in the story or just ask in the comments. Also this is my first high school DxD story. Well sorta. But this is gonna follow the plot line and try to develop the character, relationships, power and other stuff at a decent rate. I hope you like it. Though the orphan knew he wouldn't forget the others beautiful stormy eyes. Would he? TW: of course Atsushis past is full of abuse, and Akutagawa did murder a whole group of people. Though i guess you already knew that. (This isn't just about how they met, but also how they remembered eachother in the future when they were both in organizations.) I was swept under the rug too. Critter Ridge Orphanage is an old building placed in the pines somewhere in the state of New Jersey, run by a kindly woman and housing a family of others like me. Boys and girls all different in their own aspects. They didn't like me and I didn't like them, which was fine. Miss Huld, the owner, seemed to like me enough and that was all I needed. Things changed, though. They found a dead body on our property and everyone scrambled to lock the doors and bar the windows. The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery.
