An elite band of aspiring art dealers in Singapore compete for a lucrative private auction of a Vermeer painting, hungry for fame. Could they survive the bloodthirsty ancient spirit coiled up behind the frame, ready to kill the first person who touches it with bare hands? --- Yumin Hong is a penultimate Art History student at Nanyang Technological University. When she gets a lucrative internship at a small art auction house called Sabel & Glass, she doesn't expect to be pitted against two other interns to be the lead auctioneer for the art auction of the decade. Or to fall in love with her fellow intern Jonathan Yang. The painting they are instructed to sell is none other than a rare painting by the 17C Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. However, she would soon discover that the artpiece is a lot more than just canvas, but home to one of the most vicious demons known to mankind.
