You became a pillar way before tanjiro and Giyu met, so this was like basically the beginning in the demon slayer anime/manga. You are the blood pillar that has a demonic sword that needs blood in order to do blood techniques and breathing. You have an X shaped scar on your back which came from a demon trying to hurt you when you were little. You master 10 breathings...... When you see the Wind pillar you instantly felt uneasy and weird inside which to your understandings didn't make sense till later . you had demon blood in you because of the sword itself so your immortal...But luckily the Hashira accepted you because you killed an Upper moon and didn't even attempt to eat human flesh and the fact that you sacrificed your humanity to weild such a sword to slay demons with. But little did you remember that you lost your humanity completely at a younger age due to unknown events. Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine!
