*one year before*

"Well this was a crazy year" says my best friend.

We are sitting on a grass field enjoying the city lights at night. The hill is big enough for us to see almost the whole city. It looks so peaceful and harmless from up here.
"Tell me about it" I say while stroking her baby bump. She laughed at my face expression while I kept softly stroking it.

It was indeed a crazy year.. I think while laying my head on the grass. I look up and stare at the night sky and try to see something in the stars. If I was in the city I wouldn't be able to see so many stars.
"10, 9, 8" I hear my friends countdown. "7, 6, 5" I hear people around me stand up. They stand ready for the fireworks that we could see in seconds. I didn't bother to sit up and just kept looking at the stars. "4, 3, 2" I whispered with them and close my eyes.

"one" I hear a sweet low voice say in my ear. Immediately after that I felt his lips on mine sharing a soft kiss. I kiss back while smiling. This reminds me of the day I met him.
