[Book 1 of the DUO, Webtoon coming soon] The Department of Unnatural Occurrences, better known as the DUO, is an organization dedicated to solving the strange happenings in the port city of Portia. Within it is the Investigation Squad, a small group that acts as detectives to solve most, if not all, of the major crimes in the city. After the death of a journalist close to the Squad, Greyson Saffirus, a young member of the Investigation Squad, realizes that the DUO is keeping a secret. The Underworld, a group responsible for the recent string of murders in Portia, is looking for something, and only gives the DUO three pieces of information: its codename is Demon, it's inside the DUO, and they must give it to the Underworld or suffer the consequences. The only problem is that nobody knows what Demon is. With the help of the journalist's notes, Greyson and the rest of the Investigation Squad find themselves faced with a choice: find Demon and give it to the Underworld, or face the group and stop them, even if it's just temporary.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. Ariana Miller has never been described as one of those cliche 'normal girls'. Her favorite place to be is in an abandoned lot in the back of a rusty car shop where she spends most of her days in with her dog, Percy. So when her parents tell her that they have to leave her home in New York City to go to Los Angeles, she doesn't take it well. She never wanted to move or change or do anything new with her life. She just wanted to spend every day in her favorite place and write, read or play her music. When she arrives at Los Angeles and meets Brandon Davis - her next door neighbor - at the beach, she immediately dislikes him. But he seems to do anything he can to break Ariana's walls down. Being set on being alone and having a place of her own, Ariana's mission is to find a secret place that only she knows, just like in New York. But a lot more things get in the way of that than Ariana thought. Together with Brandon Davis, they seem to be able to handle anything. But they slowly uncover a secret that none of them were expecting. It wasn't a dark secret that would change the fate of humanity, it was just a secret. A secret that both of them never expected they'd come across. But then again, it's more than just a secret. It's the one thing that brought two individuals together into perfect harmony. (A/N: Hello there, potential reader! I really hope that you would give this story a chance. And I really, really hope you like it. So if you do, then vote, comment and fan!
