In 2019, both clans had officially been disbanded by order of each clans current Chairman's, by submitting an official declaration stating so to the local Police Department.
Leaving thousands of now ex-yakuza as simple civilians, like Y/N L/N.
an otherwise unremarkable man, a boy really, nothing out of the ordinary, like most yakuza, adrift with no purpose.
Born and raised in a beach side orphanage, no friends or anything, just him and a burlap sack he filled with sand as a makeshift punching bag.
Every month however, a man visited the orphanage, donating to it. It was always someone new, up until one face continued to show up.
